Hard work and dedication. Kyle Field is unrecognizable from the last time I was there about 50 years ago...and that's not the only thing that's changed. It is phenomenal the school has kept the Aggie Band intact as time marches on.
Band still shows incredible discipline as in past 50 years
Uniforms show little change in 50 years.
Nice!
Love this year’s block T video!!!
Public service virtuous
truly inspirational
What an inspiring story. The Corps sure does help support the best and brightest!
Love this guy
What a amazing and bright young man. 👏🏼
Precision!
And a few of those gay men became marine corpse occifurrs
One of the best experiences of my life. And I still maintain contact with my fish buds.
No greater leadership training in the world. L-2 ‘84 Gig’em 👍🏻
this is dope
My old boss and one the best people I ever work for was graduate of A&M retired from the AirForce as a full bird he was a great leader and may you give want to put your best foot forward
Squadron 8 members featured at Parent's Day 10:10, L-R Don Pruitt, John Tidwell, and Chip Stem (RIP). Thank you for sharing this outstanding video! This was certainly the Texas A&M that I knew and loved. Interestingly, a female cadet was featured. They endured some difficult treatment in those times. I hope this has evolved for the better. Animal 8 '83.
"there was never highporting!!"
If this doesn't pull your chain I don't know what would. These are true American's, not out protesting. They are preparing to serve their country if and when needed. These are America's finest, they do not receive the publicity they deserve.
Go away and have a seat, it's also patriotic to protest it's in the Bill of Rights so if you hate it, feel free to GTFO
question, why are the army and the navy rotcs in companies together
Often this is because the cadet was in the ROTC matching his outfit, then switched
@@amstereo8402 thx
For the last time
Man I forget, did we carry the M16 on the left shoulder or right, it"s been so long , I think it's the opposite of what the British do
Coach said this so well! The Corps values and traditions are key
What’s with the “mini” team in the back?
I believe that’s potato block. They haven’t had potato block the past two years but I believe they do more complicated spinning than the ex block
L-2 ‘84. I remember the women in the Corps. 👍🏻
Company B-2 at 11:05. Mike Thatcher at 11:40.
I remember Dawn in my class '83... and ... as for boots.... symbols that really mean something are always hard earned.
These guys prove the term “Charlie Foxtrot.”
Have any women ever been in the FDT?
Yep. Source: I'm one, my block commander is one, some of our advisors and armorers are women, and I know plenty of female former cords. Couldn't be more proud!
What is with the "mini-team" marching along side? JV guys not good enough for the A-Team? (myself, class of 73 FDT)
what's the name of the march that starts at 1:20?
It's called "Noble Men of Kyle"
Whoop!
This didn't happen during my tour in the Corps. I wish it had. Class of '73.
On your title screen image banner, the "F" in fish should be capitalized. (Me? FDT Class of 1973... 4 squads, 6 ranks each)
at the end of this, the narrator says: 2014 fish drill team
It's the class of 2014 team, since they're all freshmen
I graduated from Texas A&M in 1969 and I have no memories of women students on campus at all. All of my classes were 100% men. Congratulations. You have come a long way since then.
Harry...I was in the Corps, class of '69. afraid you had a senior moment. There were women on campus. But to be a student you (as a woman) had to be the wife or daughter of a faculty member or student. Were not many but definitely had women in my classes.
This is amazing! I'm class of '19 and I make Corps vlogs on my channel. Seeing this makes me realize that though the Corps has changed, the spirit is undying. Some things haven't changed after all these years. So proud to be a part of this wonderful tradition and family!
dude your videos are partly what inspired me to join, however I will be a fish this coming fall. good luck on your future endeavors!
I'm another one who is super motivated to join the Corps by your videos. I'm a kid from Boston who can't wait to be an Aggie. I already have an acceptance at Boston College but I want this and mostly due to your videos. It won't be easy but anything worth achieving should never be easy.
@@johnfilippone7410 I'm class of '18 and I was in the Corps. It was hard especially in fish year/semester, but I think it's one of the best decisions I've ever made and never regretted! Work hard, both academically and on Corps exercise and activities, and you will get a lot out of it, physically and mentally, and won't regret it. Good luck! Gig'em!
You were my main inspiration to join Ash, I’ll be a fish this fall with the class of ‘28!
It was great seeing the Corp back at Auburn! I hope to travel from my home in Alabama to next year’s Auburn-Texas A&M game at Kyle Field! See you soon! War Eagle!
Question by the Corps go do you mean ALL of the Corps go or just some people
The Fightin' Texas Aggie Band, Officers of the Day and Reveille travel to away games. The video shows you all of that. Gig'em!
U
The best Aggie and Boss I ever worked for. God bless you and your family Keith!
First 🙌 Gig 'Em 👍
Gig em
everyone together bringing football in season
what is the music in this?
A little late to comment, I know, but: The whole purpose of the guidon bearer and right guide is to BE a distraction to the judges in competition. The idea being that if the judges are looking at them, they may not see or overlook small errors that the rest of the team is making. I was guidon bearer for FDT Class of '83, and I can remember my buddy Scott actually chasing a judge around in the exhibition space once..
Outstanding. (I just hope the food at Duncan Dining Hall is better now.)
well the "eggs" are well....
Goosebumps! Whoop!
What is the name of this background music?
I love the Corps of Cadets, especially he Aggie Band. Too bad, I couldn't stay in it for the entire four years, including my whole fish year. It is definitely a rewarding experience!
